Michael describes himself as a story teller. Be it as an actor, a playwright, a fight choreographer, a producer or a director. His passion to create new works of art and to develop new ideas seems endless!

Originally from New Orleans, Mike developed a love for the stage and screen at an early age and has pursued his goals and dreams ever since. He has worked as a leading actor, a director, a producer and a fight choreographer through out the industry. He has developed and been apart of creative teams on dozens of original shows and show openings throughout the southeast and Los Angeles. It was his love for producing and directing and show development that led him to create Mayhem Productions. A talent run entertainment company where artists and professionals can come together to create lasting and original pieces of work.

Mike started writing for the stage and studying theatre in high school with their award winning theater program and their acting troupe the Marion Players. With the Marion Players he wrote and directed his first full length play (that is still talked about today) and carved out his own niche as the entertainment director of school’s closed circuit television station, Wolf TV, where he produced several shorts for its weekly entertainment section.

From there he received a scholarship and then his degree in Theatrical Performance and Directing from the theatre conservatory at North Western State University of Louisiana. During his time at Northwestern he studied acting, directing, stage combat and playwriting. By his senior year he was teaching playwriting, directing his own projects and had become the theatre's leading man.

After graduating he went full force into the professional worlds of theatre and film and has been working ever since.

While in Orlando, Florida, Michael worked as a leading man in several of the top live action stunt shows at Disney and Universal Studios. He also performed as an leading actor in several award nominated plays at the Orlando International Fringe Festival all while continuing his work with Mayhem Productions. Before long Mike was working with Disney and Seaworld as a director and show developer for their in-park entertainment and special events groups. His work has been seen by people from around the world.

After doing all he could in Orlando Mike moved to Los Angeles where he continued his pursuit of the theatrical and cinematic Arts. He has worked throughout the film and television industry an actor, fight choreographer, and stuntman. Along with directing and producing live show projects and short films with Mayhem Productions he, most recently, was the assistant director (2 years running) for the revival of the Universal Studios Hollywood comedy ‘the Bill & Ted show’ and directed the stage play ‘The

Shape of Things’, written by Neil LaBute, at the Little Vic theatre in Los Angeles to standing room only!

Currently, Mike and Mayhem are back in New Orleans, doing what they do best - creating and working on new and exciting projects.

Bio ... or who is this Mike guy?

I'm a scene-stealing, monologue speaking, dialogue talking, sword swinging, stunt doing, performing mad man!

From Shakespeare to physical comedy, spit takes to the art of the pie throw, staged combat to West Side Story, sword fighting to the lone soliloquy ... I love this art.

I have had the chance to work on some great projects with a wide variety of actors, directors, stunt coordinators and choreographers.

And, I cannot wait to see what's next ...!

Fights, falls, bumps and brawls ... bring it on!

Got to love the fights, the weapons, the crazy 'can you do that, did you just do that, I can't believe you did that!' world of stunts and stunt acting.

There are those out there who say you can't do it all. You can't be an actor and be a stuntman.

Well, those naysayers just don't get it ... they are too busy putting people in a category to realize those very people are out there kicking butt and taking names!

I have had the opportunity to meet some amazing people and work on some awesome projects. Sleeper Cell, Pride, EA Games, Without a Trace ... and I've worked with some great people who are responsible for all the action scenes that you and I love so much!

I am a story teller. That may take many forms. Acting, writing, directing, choreography. Bottom line -- I love to create.

Be it my own work or a collaboration or bringing to life someone else's vision the end result is always the same. Something new is brought to life that wasn't there before! When I can do all them in one project....that is the best!

I've worked as an actor, choreographer, director and creator on dozens of original shows and show openings.

This is why I developed Mayhem Productions. Our goal ... to create new and exciting original works.

As a director and choreographer I know that it is essential to be able to see the beginning and the end of a project. It is OK not to know the exact route between the two (that's called the creative process), but it is critical to lead the charge and have a clear vision of the final product.

I've been studying and performing the art of sword fighting for over 14 years and I believe that all fights should be acted ... not fought. All direction, fight choreography and action should further the story. It's just another way to tell a story ... all be it a more aggressive way.

We have created shows, provided choreography, actors and stuntmen for Disney World, Sea World, The Gaylord Palms, The Opryland Hotel, Universal Studios, Several SAG independent films to be shown at the Film Festivals and not to be forgotten our own original works performed around the country ... just to name a few.

I love the acting, I love the action, I love the clowning and slap shtick, I love the developing and creating of new shows ... who am I kidding ... I love it all!

I've had the opportunity to work on some great shows and projects as both an actor and a creator.

And, these shows combine physical stunts, the physical comedy, slap shtick and improv, along with the acting -- all in one package.

I've just finished few projects ...

A show 'the Shape of things' that I directed closed last weekend. It was a hit. So, much so that the Artistic Director of the theatre where it showed said he was proud to have it in his theatre.

Now we are talking about coming back next month for a longer run!

December though March was work on a new history channel show called 'Warriors'.

Also, I was on 'Deadliest Warriors' from Spike TV. Notice a theme ...?

We played various warriors though history and then they green screened us in the the time period and make believe sets!

Here is an old picture of Dukes of Hazzard. A huge movie filmed in New Orleans.

I was luck to be a part of Jonah Hex. About a lone gun fighter. We were playing a bunch of bad guys ... post Civil War. That is the huge set we worked on.

'Bed and Breakfast' the one with fake blood splatters. I played a murder Victim and then turned around and played the killer ... So I guess you can say I killed myself!

And with the gun I was a Terrorist for a day on 'Flesh Wounds' starring Kevin Sorbo. I know ... I look so scary!
